My Chancellor Tree begins with (1) William Chancellor of South Carolina. He married Mary (surname unknown) and they had 7 children--Marion (1808-1895 married Samuel FOWLER); William, Jr. (1816-1870, married Amma G. REAVIS); Elizabeth (1816-1892, married Young Asbury Allen); Harriett (1819-d?, married Samuel FLOWERS); Sarah (m. Pleasant GOOLSBY); Nancy (1823-d?, married John ALLEN); Gilliam (1824-1880, married Josephine REAVIS). The Reavis, Allen, and Chancellor families intermarried making for lots of double lines.

(2) William Chancellor, Jr. (born 1816) married (1) Amma G. Reavis 29 Jan 1839 and they had 2 children, William Floyd Chancellor and John Chancellor (1845-1862). I am descended from their oldest child, William Floyd Chancellor.

(2) Elizabeth Chancellor (possibly a twin to William Chancellor, Jr. as they were both born in 1816) married Young Asbury Allen on December 7, 1837 in Monroe County, Georgia.  Together they had 7 children: Zachariah (1839-1910, married Mattie CARLISLE); Gilliam Isaiah (1840-1911, married 1st Frankie WEAVER, married 2nd Nancy PITTS, married 3rd Hannah ____); Mary Ann Elizabeth (1842-d?, married Richard Moses CARLISLE); Sara Camilla (1844-1892, married  Littleberry "Berry" HOLSTON); Jeremiah Asbury Polk (1846-1864); Queen Elizabeth (1848-1900, married William Floyd Chancellor); Joseph Young (1850-1917, married Rebecca PRUITT). I descend from their 4th child Queen Elizabeth Allen.

(3) William Floyd Chancellor (born 31 Mar 1842) married Queen Elizabeth Allen (29 Jan 1848) on Feb 2, 1869 in Upson County, Georgia. Together they had 9 children: Floyd Young (1872-1896; married Anna BAZEMORE); William Leander (1875-1930; married Susie ZELLNER); Charlie Lloyd (1877-1956; married 1st Zillah BROWN, married 2nd Emma YATES); Elmore Hunter (1879-1946; married Ada Estelle DAVIS); Amma Elizabeth & unnamed twin sister (1881)--did not live past infancy; Sherman England (1884)--did not live past infancy; Zebedee Lomus (1886-1960; married Mary Ella RYDER); Wallace Reavis (1889-1890). I am descended from their 8th child, Zebedee Lomus Chancellor, Sr.

(4) Zebbie Lomus Chancellor, Sr. (born 8 Jun 1886)married Mary Ella Ryder (born 16 Jun 1894) on Oct. 7, 1918 in Shellman, Randolph County, Georgia. They had 7 children: James Rogers, Reavis Floyd, Margaret Ryder, Ella Cornelia, Lula Wilson, Zebbie Lomus, and Amma Allen. I am descended from the 6th child, Zebbie Lomus Chancellor, Jr.

(5) Z. L. Chancellor, Jr. married Connie L. Lyons 12 Dec 1958 in Warner Robins, GA. Together they had 3 children, of which I am the youngest.

Nancy Chancellor, daughter of William and Mary Chancellor, married John Allen, brother of Young Asbury Allen. They are the sons of Woodson Allen and Mary Green of Wake County, North Carolina. Other siblings were David Allen (married Martha GOOLSBY), Ridley Allen (married Ellen Daniel), and Catherine Allen (married 1st Joshua FORTUNE, and 2nd Jason CARLISLE).
